We’re pleased to share that our CEO & R&D Lead, Dr. Giovanni Bordogna, has been invited to join the Scientific Advisory Board of the KSP WIND – Enabling Zero-Emission Shipping with Wind-Assisted Propulsion project, led by SINTEF Ocean.
KSP WIND aims to develop more accurate simulation tools for wind-assisted propulsion, helping to reduce uncertainty and support informed decision-making in the maritime sector. These tools will provide shipowners, designers, and operators with better insights into efficiency gains, operational performance, and potential challenges.
We’re looking forward to contributing alongside a strong consortium of industry and research partners, including:
🔹 SINTEF
🔹 Seatrans Group
🔹 Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU)
🔹 Norsepower
🔹 Torvald Klaveness
🔹 Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Skipsrederi AS
🔹 Airseas
🔹 OceanWings
🔹 KONGSBERG
🔹 Grieg Star
🔹 Solvang ASA
🔹 Odfjell SE
🔹 Polarkonsult AS
🔹 LMG Marin AS
This is an exciting opportunity to support the advancement of wind propulsion in shipping. We look forward to the discussions ahead and the impact this research will have.
