Pelican Suite™ receives Approval from RINA

This recognition confirms the robustness and technical soundness of Pelican Suite™ as a decision-support platform for the assessment and optimization of wind-assisted propulsion systems. 

Pelican Suite™ uses a physics-based 4DOF vessel performance model to assess the impact of wind-assisted propulsion on fuel consumption, emissions, and vessel efficiency. The software supports EEDI, EEXI, FuelEU Maritime evaluations, and applies methodologies aligned with the latest ITTC Guidelines for Wind Powered Ships, providing a consistent and independent basis for technology assessment.

We are particularly pleased and grateful to see Pelican Suite™ already being adopted by GTWings into their daily workflow to support rapid, accurate and reliable performance, regulatory, and ROI evaluations. 

This AiP represents an important milestone in our mission to provide the maritime industry with independent, science-based tools that help stakeholders understand, quantify, and maximise the benefits of wind-assisted propulsion.
